michele and monicas salon rocks. I went to Monicas this week for the first time and got my hair cut and hilighted by michele. my hair looks awesome, got lots of compliments from lots of people. She s great! I will be a longtime client of monicas, nice place.

Very rude stylist, appalling receptionist. I went to Monica's salon per recommendation from a friend. My appointment was to be with a stylist named Michele. Upon arrival this hateful old woman called "Susan" was far too abrupt and arrogant in general with her dialog. Not an appropriate tone when dealing with the public. As I waited I heard her be quite rude to several customers on the phone. Is this how a business is supposed to retain clients? By snapping at potential business on the phone?

Michele finally got me in her chair and she acted as if I interrupted her day. She cut my hair too short in the end result and her indifference made it even worse. Her speech was very unrefined and came off like an uneducated hillbilly. How on earth does this place stay in business? Probably why most people in Baltimore downtown have never heard of it. This salon came off more like a private club for bored housewives than a comforting day-spa. Very sorry I ever walked in the door!
