It's hip to dip at this cozy fondue-lover's paradise..
In Short
Booths equipped with tabletop fondue pots are clustered together inside the intimate dining room. Start with a cheese fondue, including an assortment of breads, veggies and fruits for dipping. Entrees include lobster, center-cut filet, fish, chicken and vegetarian selections served with a variety of dipping sauces. For dessert, try the flaming turtle, a mix of chocolate and caramel flambéed tableside, served with nut-covered marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cake, brownies and cheesecake.

Great date place, wine and cheese, but raw meat....?.
Wow, the ambiance is fantastic, very secluded tables, very dark and intimate; a great date place!
The cheese fondue (served first as an appetizer) is the best part, food-wise; many choices, all de-lish, and best price for the quality.
The main course is a little too much for many people, as you are served RAW meat and veggies. It's one thing to watch a professional cook chicken in front of you, but it's another to let people handle it themselves---ick, salmonell city!
We got sweet fondue at the end, and it was nothing special...too sweet almost, but a great selection of dipping items.
FANTASTIC wine selection! Melting Po is also in Columbia (near the mall) and Annapolis.

Outstanding!!!.
My husband and I went to the Melting Pot for our 5th anniversary and it was good. We decided to get the feast
For the Cheese fondue we got the Mexican one a safe choice for us but it was just too good
Than for the salad I got the raspberry and I loved it
For the main course we got the one that had the Red wine in it and OMG it was the best tasting thing ever. The dips helped to enhance the flavor of everything. Lastly the desert, we got the Dark and the White, (Ying and Yang) we couldnt eat the desert but we tasted it and it was good too.
There was a lot of food, so the next time we go we will only get the dinner and get the desert a different time, but for the first time it was very worth it.

Romantic vs. Fun.
This is a fun and entertaining restaurant, that would also be great for a first date. I would not consider this to be a romantic restaurant at all. The staff is fun and friendly- perfect for the melting pot, but not quiet, professional, and relaxing as you should expect in a romantic/ fine dining restaurant.

I recommend it!.
Not only is the food good, but the ambience is to die for. Great for a couple. Can be tricky with more than 2 as you have to all decide on the fondues you want to eat equally. Only one burner to a party of 2 or 4, so everyone must agree! But food is to die for. Very unique experience.

Will Melt You Away!.
For a one-stop romantic dinner, the Melting Pot is the place you want. You'll spend three hours eating some of the best food in this fondu-style restaurant. The salsa cheese appetizer is a must, any entree is delish, and for desert, the Bailey's Irish Cream chocolate will send you home with pleasant dreams!
