Nothing special. I had high hopes for this place due to past reputation. Very run of the mill. You'd do better at a BW3.

Meh...used to be good. complete overhaul of menu needed.

I do love their chicken cheese steak but everything has gone down hill over the past 2 years.

wings are good - although it is pretty hard to really screw up wings. although they have undercooked them there once and the meat was still pink.

CLEAN THE BEER TAPS...draft beer tastes awful and dirty. bleach the lines and the taps.

buddy of mine said he work in the keg storage area a few years ago and it was disgusting...so...order a bottle or can.

overall 20 other places to go that have a good atmosphere, interesting menus that actually challenge the taste buds and good fresh draft beer!

Awful!!. This place just gets progressively worse. The wings are normally good, but they always forget the blue cheese. Wifes meal included 8 inch long blonde hair----O so YUM, NOT!!

Called back to complain, wanted to give me credit for next meal, Forget it!! Beware of the hair

By far, my favorite place to get great wings for a great price!. Bill Bateman's Bistro has the best wings outside of Buffalo. There is always a type of wing for whatever mood you're in that night. Usually, I go with the authentic buffalo style, but the other variations are great! My buddy is in love with the teriyaki wings, and not being a teriyaki lover myself, I can appreciate them! With all the variety in the food industry these days, Bill Bateman's provides you a place where you can get an American style meal at a nice price. The burgers are great, the wings spicy (if you like them that way) and crispy, even the salads are tasty. The service there is good as well. The servers are generally friendly, but aren't in your face while you are trying to have a meal. You can always see the game on one of the many TV's in the restuarant and an arcade area is just another addition that makes it so good. If you go with the wings, you can never go wrong, and the sandwiches and burgers are a great choice as well. The worst experience that I've had with Bill Bateman's is when they gave me 11 wings instead of 12 (lol). Try Bill Bateman's if you haven't already, highly recommended!

Eh, nothing special. My boyfriend and I went during lunchtime on a weekday in the summer and the food was bland. The onion rings came out too late, just 2 minutes before our entree arrived. The service was great, but food? well, I've had better.

Never ever impressed. I've went there a number of times and every time nothing was as good as I felt it should have been. The burgers are big, but fair at best. Wings are pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Way overpriced in my opinion. I'd prefer to eat a Hardee's Burger.

Go somewhere else. If you like good food, don't go to Bill Bateman's. I got the impression that the whole theme of the menu was bland average food for people who really don't appreciate cuisine; a place for those picky eaters who turn their noses up and anything adventurous or different. Lets put it this way, wings, burgers and fried mozerella sticks as an appetizer. My two friends and I dined there tonight, a decision based mostly on the fact it was the only place in Towson with easy parking on a Saturday night. The only good thing was the french fries, and if that's the best you can say about a restaurant, that ain't good. The restaurant is billed as "cheap eats" but for what we got (3 sandwiches and 3 beers for 50 bucks) it was horribly overpriced. We would have been much better off going to a fast food restaurant. Vegetarians- they don't like you there, everything has meat, so go someplace else. The only good thing about our experience this evening was our waiter who was enthusiastic, friendly and very attentive. He should get a job at a place where the food and atmosphere match his skills.

great atmosphere and customer service. I just want to say that we love going to Batemans. The waiters and bartenders are always attentive and the atmosphere is great. The food is always good and there is a variety to choose from, but it seems we always like to start with a crab stuffed pretzel. Keep up the great customer service.

Recommended. I've been there numerous times. They offer a wide selection of foods to choose from, the staff is very nice, and the food is very good. I recommend the burgers personally, as well as their appetizers. And their deserts are excellent.
