We heard of Towson Diner. Hadn't tried in a while and decided to give it a go. We had a few minute wait to sit down because of the crowd. BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!! Breakfast is the time we went and let me tell you something. Everything was amazing. FOOD --GREEK OMELETTE Amazing. Pancakes. Waffle. We all had took a few bites of each others food and well all of it was great. Service was phenomenal. I would come back anytime. OH and look at their desserts. JEEZ. I know what I'm getting next time. I asked and they said all their baking is done there. WOULD RECOMMEND!!

Best Burgers in town !. Hello everyone. I just wanted to say that I moved here from NY the home of the Giants Yankees and THE DINER...and The towson diner has become my home away from home. The food is excellent. I love the burgers, soups, and the shrimp salad. The only thing that kills me is the wait on the weekends... the place is packed..... I guess its a good thing ! I love the diner its a great place !

Definitely find a different place. My friend and I were taking some classes at a nearby school and stopped by the Towson Diner every Thursday after eating. We did not have one good experience in our 6(?) times going there.

The hostess was always very rude to us and acted as though we shouldn't be there. We only had one good waitress, all the others were very slow. The food is okay, but takes a long time to arrive. The cheesecake is the best (although expensive, but pretty large slices). When we went back the last time though the slice was half the normal slice and I refused to buy it - so do watch that).

There were many times we had to track our waitress down to get our check, or even a refill. One time my friend asked for dessert and got icecream, which came in a cup. The next time she asked for the ice cream to be put in a bowl and the waitress took about two minutes trying to figure this out. The icecream arrived in a cup. She again requested a bowl, so the waitress, who huffs and puffs, finally takes the ice cream away and reappears with the ice cream on a plate. (WTH?)

There was also the time our waitress never asked us if we wanted dessert, so we had to go up to the hostess (remember how nice she is?) to get a dessert menu and then our waitress was angry because she had to return to us.

Then there was the time where the waitress ran over to the table after we got up to see what kind of tip we had left. We were paying with a credit card, so there was no tip on the table. She then joins us at the cash register and after I hand the credit card receipt to the hostess, the waitress takes the receipt from the hostess and looks at it before we?d even left the place. How tacky!

Very bad service, no bowls to be heard of, and attitudes from employees every where you turn. If you want an experience you'll always remember, then certainly, go one time, but if you want good service, pick someplace else. It's been over a year since we've gone to the Towson Diner.

Yuck all around!. Yuck! Icky food, bad waitresses, dirty restaurant. Eat here at your peril. There is nothing good about this place, unless you are too drunk to notice what you are eating.

Awful food, awful service, flies come free with every meal. We have been a few times, just when we were starving and it was convenient and we always swear we will never return. The food is greasy and bad and rarely made the way you ordered it. The waitresses are rude and bad at their jobs. The only positive was that the manager was quick to refund our money when it was clear that we were going to call the Baltimore County Health Dept. if he didn't. Oh, and don't forget the flies everywhere, they helped to create quite a lovely dining experience. Skip this "restaurant" unless you are drunk at three in the morning and don't care about food or service.

Towon Diner. If you like slow service with an attitude, pricey food, and management that refuses to believe that you found two flying insects in your food, then Towson Diner is the place for you. The barely understandable, hothead, foreign manager literally got in my face and told me that I was crazy, and that quote "His restaurant does not have insencts." The people in that place dont know what customer service is; I wouldn't go back to that place if you paid me.

great food, questionable service. The food at the Towson Diner is fantastic. The prices are a little high, but still reasonable for the quality of food. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the service is hit-or-miss. I'll do the nice thing and leave out the waitress's name that I'm referring to, however, she is always there and always crabby. It's quite a shame, I actually have to request to NOT have her section when being seated. Otherwise, the place is worth it.

NICE PLACE. SERVICE WAS GOOD. CRABCAKES were phenomenal. nice diner they have over there. price is reasonable and portions are HUGE!!!!

got money?. went here on 2-14-2002. it looked nice from the outside- it was anything but. overpriced by about 70%, we found the food to be mediocre at best. the service was so-so, even though there was no crowd. how could there be? i'm sure the locals know this is an unaffordable waste of one's hard-earned cash. i mean, who wants to mortgage a pancake?

Best late night place. Food is good, though the service is usually a bit slow. Then again, at 3AM, who's in a hurry?
