good sounds, cool staff, Good Grub, good views, safe neighborhood, cute girls, decent drinks, some good acts, happy it opened.

• Pros: better food than many restaurants I see recomended on this site
• Cons: no real coat check, beverage service not the greatest

Recher Theatre is an amazing venue able to draw in a variety of concert seekers. They are able to do this because they provide a variety of musical performers who attract many different crowds all across Baltimore.

Recher Really Rocks

Tired of the same old music on today's commercial radio? Wanna hear some really creative acts...really talented musicians who can play it straight or jam it up. The Recher's the place. Their sound system is top notch, you can dance on the wooden floor , or just hang back a bit and listen. Check out the schedule and you'll find jazz, jam, funk, blues, bluegrass and all kinds of variations from jamgrass to acid jazz. Local favorites like The Almighty Senators, Jah Works, and Can't Hang are regular performers but you can catch national and regional acts like Keb Mo', Donna the Buffalo, Derek Trucks Band, and Govt Mule at least one night a week. If you're into good music, pick a night and go to the Recher. There's lots of good music out there...you just need to know where to find it and the Recher's the place.
