A Great Hospital. I and my family only go to Westview Animal Hospital in Catonsville, Md. They are highly competent, compassionate and caring. Dr. Cohen and his staff stay current on the latest technologies and advancements. I credit him and his team for identifying an aggressive form of cancer and quickly identifying and development of a course of action and referrals to specialists, which saved my dog's life (Ariel). He and they listen to me and my input and ideas and discuss options. I highly recommend this hospital and veterinarians and staff.

A Wonderful Experience. Westview Animal Hospital came highly recommended and despite living in Silver Spring, I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. I've taken my very active puppy and 17 year old cat there and have experienced great service. The front desk staff was very welcoming and professional. The doctor was extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly.

awesome vet experience. This is the best vet practice I have ever had the pleasure of taking my animals to. From the front desk staff, to the techs, to the drs everyone is anxious to make sure you and your pet have the best experience possible! All the employees are polite and professional and every vet i have encountered has been knowledgeable and compassionate. It is truly a great practice!

WONDERFUL CARE AND STAFF. I take both of my cats to Westview and I never get anything but exceptional service and care. Dr. Cohen and staff have gone out of their way to make sure my pets get the best care possible.

One of my cats needed to have emergency surgery on a Saturday so Dr. Cohen and two of the vet techs stayed late and gave up their weekends in order to save the life of my pet. I will always be truly grateful. In addition, all of the doctors and techs are available to answer questions or address concerns at any time. They continue to patiently work with me to make sure I feel confident that my cat's health is 100%.

Something else that I appreciate is that most of the doctors and staff have been around for quite some time so I almost always see faces I recognize. This not only reassures me of their skills and abilities but offers proof that the employees care about and enjoy their jobs.

Despite having moved a bit farther away to Columbia, I still continue to take my pets to Westview. There are quite a few animal hospitals near my residence, but I have yet to experience the level of service and care my pets get at Westview Animal Hospital.

Excellent animal hospital!!. I have been taking my pets here for 10 years. I have always received excellent service and answers. I and my family have taken all our pets here and it is the friendliest place around. Even during emergencies they have made accommodations to squeeze me in. Highly recommended!!!

STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET!!!. I will never take another pet to this place again.

I've had numerous bad experiences with the vets and vet techs over the past few years. Everyone seems to have an attitude. I heard the groomer getting an attitude with someone's answering machine because the owner didn't answer the phone.

My dog has had two surgeries there. He cried in pain for 24hrs, hid and, wouldn't eat, but Dr Felter literally said, "Maybe your dog is a drama queen." She only gave him rimadyl because I insisted. Rimadyl is an anti-inflammatory. Well...she also said that putting ice packs on it wasn't a good idea. However, cold relieves pain and causes vasoconstriction, which decreases swelling and inflammation...so why was it a bad idea for me to use a cold compress?

Please don't take your animal there. I've taken dogs, a reptile and small animals there and have never been happy with their care. The only reason why I put up with it for so long is because it's around the corner from my house. BUT NO MORE.

great place to take your pet. great friendly service, and felt comfortable leaving my dog over night several times. they treated her great and her surgery went very well
