I know this isn’t really a review but
felt the need to share our thanks to Nurse Bank:
Please accept a great BIG THANK YOU for providing us with such wonderful help from Jane. She always presented with a smile, marvelous appearance, willingness to care for mom and a terrific personality.
May you continue to provide astounding people to help others, such as ourselves to care for aged parents.
We have truly gained a new friend!
Nurse Bank provided three superb
nurses’ aides to care for our beloved mother in 12 hour private duty shifts around the clock at Northwest Hospital from Aug 11th until her passing Aug 25th. We are eternally grateful to the office staff and the aides for the utmost sensitive, professional and compassionate care they provided our mother and their support to our family during this very difficult time.
Nurse Bank is fortunate to be associated with these wonderful health care professionals.
Following my mothers hip surgery I contacted Nurse Bank to assist in her recovery. The caregivers they sent were exceptional. Each time I had a chance to speak to these very nice women, I could tell that my mother was in very good hands. The best compliment of all is that my mother had "no complaints" . Now that is amazing!! If I am ever in need of future help for my family I will definitely call Nurse Bank.
Exceptional care recieved.
I recently had shoulder surgery and needed personal care for myself. A friend recommended me to call Nurse Bank. I called and the coordinators were so helpful. The CNA they sent me was highly trained and so nice. She made my post op recovery so much better.
I decided to keep her on for 6 weeks.
I am having another procedure soon and have already called Nurse Bank so they can contact the same aide again for me.
I have recommended Nurse Bank to many friends because of my wonderful experience.
Agency refused to take responsibility after theft by aide. My 92-year-old cousin, who is cognitively sharp but physically frail, hired them to provide her with a home health aide. That aide went on to write more than $10K in fraudulent checks to herself from my cousin's account. When we discovered this and brought it to the attention of Laura Zemon, the owner of the agency, she refused to bring the matter to the police, saying the responsibility to do so rested with my traumatized cousin. What's more, despite the fact that Ms. Zemon represented herself as "bonded," she refused to return any of the money that had been stolen. Her excuse was that Nurse Bank's insurance doesn't cover "those types of situations." She even refused to return the commission she earned from placing the aide, arguing, outrageously, that she didn't make commission of the part that was stolen. My cousin remains financially and emotionally devastated, and Nurse Bank has left her entirely on her own to deal with this, not returning phone calls or otherwise accepting any responsibility for the aide they brought into her home. There are many home health care agencies to choose from and I couldn't urge you more strongly to look elsewhere. We've since engaged another agency and the experience has been absolutely night and day.
