Enjoy the Groupon.... but skip becoming a regular member, once the Groupon expires. The owner of this gym definitely takes its full-price members for granted and treats them badly by regularly depriving them of the use the gym. This is done when Meadow Mill hosts enormous squash tournaments and uses the facility as a recreational center for Baltimore area public & private schools. These groups are allowed to regularly mob the club, trashing everything in site and treating regular members like crap!

Not Worth the Price!. This is a dirty gym filled with outdated, rusting equipment and a very limited selection of classes. Definitely NOT worth the $75 membership fee, when compared with other atheletic clubs in the Baltimore area. I would have given this place zero stars, if the Citysearch rating tool would have allowed me to do so.

BTW, the Citysearch 5 star rating from nbandiere is a rating entered by a Meadow Mill employee and should not be considered valid.

Best staff, best community, not a meat market or a baby factory. This location is low key, friendly, full of classes, and one of the top squash court facilities in the country. The employees do not make commision off your membership, the owner and manager are playing squash, working with the little guys, or working out as often as not, and the whole facility is full of respectful, succesfull adults who enjoy an athletic LIFESTYLE.

If you would rather avoid the young and limber folk under 5'0 then don't go directly after school lets out from 3:30 to 4:30 when they do after school squash training for the local private schools. Most of the time though, you can curb bad behaviour by treating them with respect and asking them not to look so gosh darn youthful, hah.

This gym is the first facility I've experienced with content workers, fairly congenial worker-bees-weight-loss-warriors, and athletes all mixed together in a happy albeit sweaty blend.

Average for the price. There are too many middle school children at this gym. They don't seem to monitor them as they are always on the equipment. The equipment seems a little out dated. Clean gym.

Gym for kids not for adults.... This health club is optimized for families and kids versus adults who need a serious workout. The equipment is dated and the ambience harkens to a nursery school. The lockerrooms are full of kids from elementary school to middle school. Awkward place if you are an adult professional. Unfortunately for Baltimore, there are few options since the Merritt is such a monopoly and also leaves a lot to be desired. Also, the location is difficult to get to due to the rampant overdevelopment going on in the Clipper Mill area.

User review by nbandiere. I've never been in a cleaner gym! The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. This club has many more group fitness classes than the other two larger gyms. The kids room is second to none! Thanks, Meadow Mill!

Great Club!!!. This club was very clean and the staff was super friendly. I felt right at home. I dropped my kids off in the Kids' Room where the staff there made them feel comfortable and safe. I had two luxurious hours to workout and shower BY MYSELF! The hot tub and sauna aided my relaxation as well as a full workout with free weights and cardio equipment. I will definitely return to this club again as I am now a member!
