THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to put in one star- but there should be none. I have had 2 extremely bad experiences with this company.

The first time the bus left without us, when I called the rep said she didn't have us booked, when I said I had a confirmation email she said we had to have been late. REFUSED a refund. I finally got that after many hours of phone calls (where she was hostile) and emails.

Tried again the following year. This time we called to confirm reservation. This time we were told that I had to come to the office (that closed at 4:00) to sign for the trip the following morning or the ticket couldn't be issued. I was working till 7:30 that night. It doesn't say that on the website. Also she said I had booked pickup at a different location. When I said I had the confirmation email stating the correct place she said she had changed it. An out and out lie. They did, however charge my AMEX.

I WILL NEVER AGAIN ATTEMPT TO USE THIS SERVICE. TRAVEL- OR AT LEAST ATTEMPT TO- AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

Had a Good Time. Had a good time on the bus trip to casino last Sunday.

Bus reservation was easy online. Seat was in back but we booked trip on Friday. Next time will do early to get up front, but still had good time. Tahj Mahal is fantastic and huge. The bonus card was a bit hard to get used too at first, but next time we will understand better how to use it. We had so much fun that we slept all way home and driver had to wake us up at the terminal or we would have spent the night on the bus. Cannot wait to do it again. You just got to do this trip.....AWESOME. I was a bit nervous about the whole idea of going on a bus with strangers....BUT WHAT A GREAT GREAT TIME WE HAD! We were very impressed with the services. Cost of this day is really worth so much more when you can have so much fun relaxing, and enjoying a day out in such bad economic times without going broke doing it. Spent the whole day wondering why my girlfriends and I did not do this trip a long time ago. We will do it again and again. Everything was perfect!

Bus trip. My wife and myself ride many bus trips to Atlantic City and other places to save money. This day to Atlantic City was fun and the driver was safe and nice. We got on bus in Pikesville it made 2 stops after us. We got our bonus of $25 at the Taj majal and a food coupon that we gave to a friend because we got a comp at Trump Plaza for lunch from last time we came. The whole day was good our seats were together with our friends and the driver was smiling and nice unlike some grumps on some bus trips we have been on with other bus cpmpanys trips.

We will go again with this bus company. The people on the bus were very nice. No problems just fun day for us to get away together.

Poor Service. You have to wonder what incentives were given to the two positive reviews. Obviously they haven't traveled on the busses of any of the other local companies. While the Goilden RIng driver was very nice, their point of contact woman leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service.

Compared with other companies, their busses are frayed and noisy.

But they give you free coffee. That certainly makes up for everything, doesn't it.

The dollar value is okay, but that value is available elsewhere without all the negatives.

What a deal- with gas being where it is this is a day of fun for pennies! Bus and driver were great, everything was perfect.. Used my credit card to book few days ahead, even had my seat with my friends reserved with our name (even though it was mispelled) we were all together. Driver was so nice and helpful as this was our first trip to Atlantic City by bus. What a fun day, will return often. Love the penny slots too! You cannot beat the value of this trip.

GREAT VALUE. Have been travelling with this company and the other bus companies to Atlantic City since 1989 so I think I can be said to be expert in my travel experiences. Wish I could say the same about my gambling history but that is another story that I share on bus! This is the best value, best ride, most on time service to Atlantic City . My casino bonus of $25 cash for a $32 bus ticket lets me gamble a little bit then enjoy my day sightseeing, even shopping at the new outlets not too far to walk to and get back before the bus leaves me. I got left once and took a greyhound home because I was late getting back. The $5 food coupon at the Taj Mahal is good for a cup of coffee and a cookie before you leave but not much else. Food places at casino are expensive so I eat on the boardwalk. But, the bus service is greatt, the seat reservations helps keep everyone from fighting over a seat when you get in the bus This happens in the other bus companys all the time. Drivers are so nice. Mr. Sam, is great. With the price of gas it is not worth driving and tolls. Buses are clean and comforible and you get a free cup of coffee before you leave! I read the other peoples reveiw and wanted to add mine. I was on the Gunther bus that break down and a Rohrbuh bus that break down two times. We eventualy got home but I go to Atlantic City 3 times a month so I have no fear riding buses. The buses are good. My friends say same thing and we all have fun on bus. Hope you read this.

Last Golden Ring Trip for me. I agree with your previous reviewer. I was also on the bus that was 20 minutes outside of Atlantic City heading to Maryland when the entire bus filled with smoke and was totally disabled by what we were told was a malfunctioning transmission. Needless to say, we were all very shaken and gagging and could not get off the bus fast enough! There were sparks and a thud even as the driver brought the bus to the side of the road. The temperatures were freezing as we stood as far away from the smoking bus, not really knowing if it would catch fire or even explode. The EPA responded quickly as did the AC police. The Haz Mat crew quickly doused the oil and/or gas that quickly flooded onto the road.

At least we were able to get out of the cold once the smoke cleared from the bus and it was evident that it would not catch fire or explode, only to have to wait 2 hours for another bus out of Cape May, NJ to pick us up. This kind of service is totally unacceptable! If you are going to be in the tour business with having 45 to 50 lives in your hands, you'd better damn well have top running vehicles in your fleet that are mechanically sound and ready for the road! Also, your staff needs some lessons in showing respect to your customers. I personally was on the receiving end of Tammy's curt and nasty behavior, as apparently were many of my fellow travelers on the "smoking" bus that evening. Two hours is a long time to share stories and commiserate.

Better Alternatives. If you don;t mind poor and rude customer sevice, busses in poor condition that breakdown with ownership taking no responsibility and brushing it off as one of those things,and the odor of engine fumes, then this

is the company for your bus travels.

If you believe you deserve better, and you do, there are numerous excellent alternatives in the Baltimore area including, among others, Superior and Gunther.
