Home style pizza. A visit to Matthew's is somehow more than the sum of its parts. The Pizza is marvelous.

The service is friendly and the location is great. The only improvment I could suggest

would be fresh mushrooms on the pizza instead of canned.

The best pizza. Chicago, New York, Philadelphis take notice. Matthews serves the best pizza anywhere. This has been a tradition for many years. They do not do carry out. The traditional is my favorite.

BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD. I AM IN THE MILITARY AND HAVE PROBABLY HAD PIZZA IN EVERY CORNER OF THE GLOBE FROM NEW YORK TO PARIS AND FROM CALIFORINIA TO JAPAN. MATTHEW'S PIZZA IS CHEAP, THE SERVICE AND SETTING ARE UNIQUE. ALWAYS A GREAT VALUE ABOUT HALF THE COST OF LEADING PIZZA CHAINS AND ONE HUNDRED TIMES BETTER. I HAVE SET FOOT ON SIX CONTINENTS AND MATTHEW'S IS THE BEST!

The Best in Baltimore!. I was not a "Pizza" person until my first visit to Matthew's. The atmosphere is excellent and the food is simply marvelous. I lived in the DC area for several years and traveled to Baltimore weekly just for the pizza. Although I no longer live within driving distance of Matthew's Pizza, I have taken vacation to the area just to go there. It is worth the trip and effort.

Best Pizza by FAR!!!. I've been frequenting Matthew's since I was born pretty much - its a family tradition. The family atmosphere and delicious food hasn't changed. It is still the absolute best pizza in Baltimore bar none! With friendly staff, excellent service and wonderful food, its a local HIT!

A longtime neighborhood favorite serves up perfect pies in a setting reminiscent of days past.. The Scene
Walking into Matthew's Pizza feels like walking into the past. Reminiscent of Italian pizzerias from times gone by, this place looks like it did on opening day more than 55 years ago. Matthew's recipes haven't changed, and neither has Baltimore's adoration for this long-time neighborhood establishment. Red and white checked tablecloths and an old-fashioned coke-bottle case help add to the atmosphere.

The Food
Matthew's thick crust, homemade sauce and perfect amount of cheese leave most pizza lovers thinking they've died and gone to heaven. You can order your pizza your way, but if you're really hungry, try Anna's Stuffed Pie, a regular pizza stuffed with your choice of meat. It's sinful and unbelievably filling. Other Italian favorites include pastas, subs and cold cuts, all handmade daily. On salads or antipasto, the house dressing is divine.

Matthew's Pizzeria. Matthew's has the greatest pizza around. I am shocked it was behind papa johns. Papa Johns is ok compared to Matthew's Pizza. If you are ever in baltimore you must go down on Eastern Avenue and STOP! It is a very small place but it is such the best.

Awesome pizza!. By far, the best pizza in Baltimore. A great, homey feel. Anyone living in the Canton/Patterson Park area must check it out!

5 Star. Have only been there once as a guest of my Son who lives in Baltimore. Pizza is my second favorite food and I would rank Matthews as the best in the Contiental US. I'm from Palm City, FL.
