In Short
What this pub lacks in authenticity, it makes up for in Guinness signs. Mirrors and antique advertising decorate almost every square inch, while larger-than-life murals cover the remaining wall space. As the decor suggests, lager flows easily and often from the taps. Claddagh also has a good selection of high-quality local brews like DeGroen's and Clipper City to complement the Irish classics. On the second floor are pool and foosball tables. The menu tends towards heavy fare.

While the food is adaquete, with some of it even being reasonably priced, I have had some really unsatisfactory service here. Twice, the daytime bartender was a little too gruff for my taste and once a manager was downright rude to our somewhat large brunch party. We were put in the back room where it was pretty dark and when we asked if we could have more light were told it wasn't possible. A friend said that it was Sunday morning and it would help to wake us up and the manager told us to just 'drink coffee'. I wouldn't not go if my friends wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my first or second or third choice.

Not your neighborhood pub - this is upscale. We visited on vacation and made a meal of their appetizers - hot crab dip - firecracker shrimp - smoked salmon. All good! Will definitely visit again the next trip to Baltimore.
