Cannot Wait to Return!!. This past weekend my husband had a business trip in Baltimore, Maryland and I decided to accompany him to get a break from PA. On Saturday (8/14/10) afternoon my husband and I decided to go explore the sites of Baltimore to find a great place to eat and drink. The concierge suggested that we go to Canton and check out Claddagh Pub because of the lively atmosphere and excellent food. When we walked in the front door of Claddagh's my husband and I were immediately greeted by the two bartenders behind the bar with warm and friendly smiles. We asked for a table outside and were told it would be a fifteen minute wait but were welcome to have a drink at the bar while our table was being set up. While my husband and I sat at the bar we were offered beverages and a menu to look at while we waited. I was very impressed with variety of the menu which ranged from lighter fare such as appetizers and sandwiches to more heavier fares such as pasta and steak entrees. I was also informed by the bartenders that Claddagh's offers daily specials for both lunch and dinner that change every day. The daily dinner specials that evening were both unique and appealing. After looking at the menu we decided to check out the upstairs and found that there were two bars (one was a lounge type bar with cushioned stools and couches), two pool tables, a fooseball table; in addition to all this, there were tons of flat screen tvs throughout the upstairs which were broadcasting every possible sports station on television. While upstairs the manager found us and kindly informed us that our table was ready. I was so impressed with the professionalism of the staff that I felt as though I was at a fine dining restaurant where the menu was reasonably priced and the staff was friendly and approachable. Our server was extremely nice and immediately took our drink orders and read us the daily specials. For an appetizer my husband and I shared the Saffron Oysters (it was a dinner special) and the Crab Dip; both of these appetizers were outstanding- especially the Crab Dip. For dinner I had the Shrimp Scampi, which was bold and rich in flavor- it was excellent, I highly recommend this dish to anyone who dines at Claddagh Pub. My husband had the New York Strip and said it was cooked to the perfect temperature and one of the best steaks he had ever eaten. Being from out of town it was so enjoyable to eat and drink at an establishment where the food was excellent and reasonably priced, the staff was friendly yet very professional, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Overall, our experience at Claddagh Pub was absolutely amazing and we cannot wait to come back to Baltimore to go to eat there again. If you have not been to Claddagh Pub then I highly recommend that you go and check it out.

A Can't MIss. During a recent visit to Baltimore, my wife and I were referred to the Canton area as a place to go and have some drinks and check out the bar scene. We wound up in Claddagh Pub, a busy Irish Pub. Not expecting to eat but did anyway and what a find! We had a great dinner of NY Steak and Crab Cakes, both cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this pub.

Best Place in Canton. Of all the bars in Canton, Claddagh Pub is by far the best bar/restaurant. Claddagh's has a lively atmosphere that appeals to all ages. Monday-Friday Claddagh's is an great place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner because of the daily food specials and excellent customer service. The service at Claddagh's, whether you're sitting at the bar or at a table, is absolutely fantastic!!!

On Saturday and Sunday mornings Claddagh's offers a fantastic brunch with great food specials as well as $4.00 Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's. During the evening, the atmosphere at Claddagh's becomes more lively as the tables and bars begin to fill up for dinner. The dinner specials at Claddagh's change every evening, which offers customers a versatile menu that never gets old. Claddagh's has 14 different beers on tap and a versatile wine menu as well as a variety of liquors and bottled beer. In addition to great food specials, Claddagh's offers great drink specials Mon-Fri and Sunday. Every Mon-Fri during happy hour Claddagh's offers half off domestic bottles, import bottles and half-off drafts. In addition to these drink specials, there are also happy hour food specials. My FAVORITE food special is the 30 wings and a pitcher of Miller Lite for $18.00- such a great deal. Also, if you like crab dip then definitely get the crab dip at Claddagh's because it by far the BEST in all of Baltimore- I won't order crab dip anywhere else other than Claddagh's.

The late night atmosphere at Claddagh's is fun, entertaining, and lively. There is a DJ Thurs-Sat who plays excellent music that is guaranteed to get the crowd dancing. On Thursday nights (starting at 7pm) it's $1.00 Bud Light and $1.00 Miller Lite bottles ALL night- can't beat dollar beers!!! Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights at Claddagh's is definitely the place to be! Claddagh's has 3 full bars (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs) with bartenders who are very fast, friendly and provide excellent customer service.

If you haven't been to Claddagh's then you are definitely missing out excellent experience, so come down to Claddagh's to find out why this place is considered the best in Canton.
