In Short – What this pub lacks in authenticity, it makes up for in Guinness signs. Mirrors and antique advertising decorate almost every square inch, while larger-than-life murals cover the remaining wall space. As the decor suggests, lager flows easily and often from the taps. Claddagh also has a good selection of high-quality local brews like DeGroen's and Clipper City to complement the Irish classics. On the second floor are pool and foosball tables. The menu tends towards heavy fare.

Great service, good food

by yukster11

My girlfriend and I came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. The service was very friendly and the food was good as well, especially the speciality Irish Coffees that they prepared. The place has two levels, the downstairs dining area and an upstairs lounge that has pool tables, other games and a bar. Prices were reasonable (beers were $3.50). The downstairs level has the front bar and then a separate room for dining as well as tables in the back.

Great retaurant

by eschlitz

I have been to Claddagh's a lot and have never had a bad experiece. Food has always been good and the bar is always fun to hang out in. Per the other comments, no one has ever been rude to me. Always a great experience.

A Fading Favorite

by Tinman1612

I've been recommending the Claddagh Pub, its ambience and its kitchen, for years. Many others have too; the Claddagh is a bonafide success story. But a recent visit suggests it may not be able to sustain its success. A client and I ordered mixed drinks "on the rocks," and they came in tiny stemmed glasses with far from tiny prices. The strip steak was stringy and tough; the vegetables raw, the mashed potatoes dry and pasty. I won't recommend the Claddagh again for a while.

  • Pros: ambience, good food usually
  • Cons: small mixed drinks
