Caton Tavern. I have been to Caton Tavern on countless occasions and would recommend them with one major exception, "that one bartender". I am not sure if she is family of the owners or what but she will stomp around cursing under her breath (sometimes out loud), slams the cooler doors and even walks right past you when you are looking for a drink (no the bar was not packed), don't even think about Keno she despises having to do anything but the bare minimum. This has happened to me and friends on 5+ occasions. Even after you leave a 40% tip she is still as rude as can be. The key here is to go early because she typically works nights. You can notice this bartender by the well over done spray tan and the bitter face.

Other than this bartender, the food is good, beers are cheap and the place has about 10 tvs with all sports all the time. All other bar tenders and servers are very nice and do a great job, its just "that one". We now leave when she shows up.

So in conclusion - I hope this bartender happens to read the reviews. Lady you are the only issue with the down home feel local bar. I assume you are family of the owners because if you were not you would be fired for the way you act, and if you were the owner you certainly would not treat your customers the way you do.

User review by beau2. The Caton Tavern is the kind of tavern everyone wishes was in their neighborhood. Very good food with reasonable prices in a nice place. What more could you ask for? Friendly efficient service compliments the overall feeling a people enjoying themselves and its one of those taverns that is just as suitable for a meal with the kids as for an adult beverage (or two).

Great Food, Nice People. I have gone here for years, a nice neighborhood bar, food had improved 10000 percent with the new owners, huge amts of food!!! It almost pains me to share this with the world......A couple of my favorite things; the cream of crab soup, the big pieces of shrimp in the shrimp salad, the spicy,blackened chix appetizers,yum, the crisp chicken basket with ff! I can go on...
