Editorial Review for Maryland Science Center – by Hollis Minor

The Scene
A dazzling three-story view of Baltimore's Inner Harbor complements this vibrant science center where children and adults engage in interactive exhibits, entertaining theater shows and live demonstrations.

The Collection
On the first floor, the big draw is the simulated dinosaur dig, where visitors experience the thrill of looking for fossils. Additional exhibits can be touched, pushed, pulled and turned to provide insight into the mysteries of motion, optics, physics, sound, mathematics, weather, the human body, architecture and the universe. In the planetarium, a mix of images and special effects projected onto a 50-foot dome portray the marvels of the cosmos. In the third-floor theater, a delightful 3-D laser light show reveals the marvels of the human brain.

While we really enjoyed the Body World exhibit, the young black girl at the ticket office had to be the rudest individual I have ever run across. She certaintly ruined the day for=e my wife and I. I'll never return to the Science Center.

Pros: Nice exhibit

Cons: Attitude of employees

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended
