Come for the beer deals, then stay for the spicy wings at this low-key local
hangout..
The Scene
The nondescript stone facade hides a tavern that is substantially different from the numerous dark bars populating Baltimore's street corners. Forgoing the shiny tables and brass fittings of Canton's newer bars, Kisling's offsets outdated beer signs and basic wooden booths with charming neighborhood photographs and memorabilia. The narrow, two-floored pub's friendly staff and warm atmosphere are equally responsible for this watering hole's popularity.
The Food
Nearly empty on Friday and Saturday nights, Kisling's is packed with 20- and 30-somethings on weeknights in large part because of its promotional partnership with the Baltimore Sport and Social Club. Offering frequent food and drink deals including daily happy hours and 20-cent wings on Sundays, Kisling's also features numerous TVs and second-floor pool tables (which the staff often converts for "flip-cup challenges.")
