A block away from the waterfront, this quaint bar is so full of bricks that the interior feels like a large, sepia-toned fireplace. In the back room, a decent jukebox provides diversionary entertainment, but the main activity here is drinking beer. Standards like Killian's, Guinness, Harp and Bass are complemented by local drafts from Oliver's Brewery. A good selection of burgers, pizzas and seafood is also available.

The Wharf Rat would be a nice place to go for a drink and appetizer with a few friends. The dining area is very dark and the menu is mainly pub fare. There is not a lot of room in the dining area for a large group and it was very noisey on a Saturday night.

Good, dark, harbor town bar in Fells Point. Beer drinkers will enjoy the variety of brews. There is another one near Camden Yards which is a great place for a drink before an Orioles game.

While Oliver's Brewery's Summer Light, Indian Pale Ale and Irish Red brews are particularly tasty, if you visit during the holidays, try the oustanding Christmas Ale.
