Take in the rustic, timeworn ambience inside this watering hole built in 1775.
In Short
Landlubbers, tourists and locals alike are all welcome at this dimly lit tavern along the wharf's edge. Known by Fells Point regulars as simply "The Horse," this long running bar's real claim to fame isn't its longevity so much as its stock of 65 different beers (including microbrews) and the bevy of local rock and folk musicians who perform every night. A pirate's booty awaits Orioles' fans that show up after the game with a ticket stub: Their first drink is two-for-one.
Lots of Beers. This is the place to come and get any Beer you like. Always good to come here and try a new one. We went there for the Fells Point Festival last year and it was a great time. Nice location to other bars and is still the one of the musts when in Fells Point.
