Set in a 1700s classic Baltimore rowhouse, simplicity is the name of the game at this bar..
The Scene
Characterized (loosely speaking) by its narrow bar, the back room encompasses little more than a pool table. There's plenty to stimulate the eye at this mangy watering hole, however, from beer and cigarette posters to mirrors, lights and standard bar trinkets. Get there early to find a seat, though; there aren't too many of them.
The Booze
Nothing too extraordinary here, but certainly not lacking for choice. Leadbetter's has about 10 beers on tap, including Guinness and Miller Lite, DeGroen's, Sierra Nevada and an obligatory cider. The bar is fairly well-equipped and a stiff mixed drink of the Screwdriver variety won't break your bank.
While You're There
Live music is a regular feature, usually taking the form of solo acoustic cover songs. If conversation's your goal, sit away from the door.
