great authentic Italian food. I've been going here since 2004 and this place is amazing. everything is fresh made and the setting is very cozy and rustic. the perfect place for lunch, dinner, birthdays anniversaries. i think beats olive garden because everything is so authentic and the fire oven set is aside. i love the chicken marsala, alfredo and the brownie is to die for. service is good and everyone is professional and friendly.

An open kitchen churns out wood-fired pizzas and fresh-made pastas at this casual Sicilian-American chain.. In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.

Don't Go!!! Worst Italian restaurant in my 50 yr life. My family loves Italian food (my husband is half Italian descendent, though I'm Asian), and look forward to having a nice Italian food in Baltimore. It was packed and the service was rather slow, but what really threw us all off was the dishes we ordered - spaghetti with meatballs, angel hair pasta with garlic and olive oil sauce, and ravioli. These, as you can tell, are all the very basics and we couldn't believe how anyone can come up with such poor quality basic dishes. Angel hair pasta wasn't made with angel hair pasta, and their olive oil has very stale bitter taste. Their tomatoes were also very old and tasteless. I DO NOT recommend this place even if you have to go to McDonald's instead.

Best Italian Restaurant anywhere by Darlene, Cumberland, Md. Just wanted everyone to know I ate at Carrabba's Itialian Grill near Joppa Road, Parkville. The Roast Beef Dinner and Mashed Potatoes I got were very "tasty". This was my first time at this Grill. I was visiting my cousin, Rev. Balderson, of Bethel Temple, Joppa Road, and she eats there all the time. Services was excellent, very clean. .

Best Italian chain resturant around. I don't think there is any doubt in my mind that Carrabbas is by far the best italian chain resutrant around. You have to try the Chicken Bryan, also love their cesar salads. Olive Garden or Bertuccis just don't compare. If your looking for a good Italian meal and don't feel like driving into Baltimore city to get it give Carrabbas a try

Delicious. We had a group of 8 and even though the wait was crazy it was well worth it. The food was absolutely delicious. All of the ladies were happy with their experience and we will definitely be going back. The only thing is that if you call ahead you aren't really making reservations. That was puzzling to me because we called ahead but when we arrive we were told that they don't accept reservations even though I saw my name in purple crayon on the hostess desk. Oh, and try to avoid Saturday nights unless you can stand the hour and a half wait.

Mmmm, Crab Cakes. It sounds wrong to even say. How can a chain restaurant make such good crab cakes? But, so far, I have to say that Carrabba's on Bel Air Road has to have the best Crab Cakes I've ever had.

The other food is good too.

The Italian Chicken Pizza makes for a nice lite meal or a good appetizer if you share.

The Johnny Rocco Salad is a great salad, although somewhat inconsistant.

The pasta is always good and the gravy is thick enough.

If you want real Italian, go to Little Italy, but if you want something better than the Olive Garden, this is your place.

Try the Crab Cakes.

One of my favorites!. This place is great! I love the bread and oil that they give you before the food comes. Carrabba's has a good atmosphere but you want to get there before the crowd. We got there at about 7pm on a Friday and there was a 2 hour wait. We didn't wait but decided to come back another day at a different time. The service is great also!

Where's the food?. If you are a small bird, you will be happy with the serving sizes. Pasta is cheap folks!
