Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant..
In Short
A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.
For a chain...FABULOUS!. I absolutely love their food!...and I'm a huge Italian food fan. Yes, there is some better quality out there in various Little Italy's around the country, but it's great especially for being right in Annapolis...I would go there before I drove to Baltimore for dinner.
plain old pasta.
i was expecting more. Definitely does not belong in the 'Cheap Dining' section. It was clean and corporate, and service was decent. But why is 'Romanos' chain listed for Baltimore when just about anything in Little Italy is equivalent in price and MUCH better quality???
You people have to stop going to the chain restaurants (Romanos, Cheescake Factory, Etc) and start exploring some of Baltimores true treasures... Brewers Art, Mo's Seafood, Tio Pepe, Thai Restaurant. C'mon, Live a little!
