Sanford Kramer did very well. I had an issue with my water heater which was resolved very quickly. The technician was then able to help solve a number of problems I have been having with my toilets. I was able to fix several problems at once, which was great! He obviously knew about how to get things done right.
Professional & Courteous. Professional and courteous. Explained what needed to be done. Went and got the necessary part and took care of the work promptly.
Very Satisfactory. Very satisfactory - came within one day at time requested. Worked efficiently and quietly. Making a good repair to fit an obsolete fixture. I'm pleased.
Very Satisfied. Very satisfied with plumbing services, will continue to use you in the future and will recommend you to our friends.
Sanford Kramer: Exceptionally UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!. After having horrible service from this so called company recently I decided to read the reviews online which brought me here where I saw a review by Claudia H.. Sadly her experience was much more pleasant than mine. I was sold a service agreement over the phone 3 years ago after calling in about a sticker on my water heater. I should have known better than to do business over the phone but I guess I needed to be reminded of why this is not a good idea. I never did get my question answered about the water heater but I did get sold a bill of goods that were anything but good. I received no service at all for that year. I did not renew the agreement because I never used it. Recently I was called and offered the 3 free maintenance visits that they "owe" me from years ago. This shady company then sent out 2 separate "technicians" over the course of the next week for so called maintenance visits. A plumber and a hvac technician, came out for separate visits each providing me with a huge list of completely fabricated repairs I needed to have completed. Thankfully I decided to have nothing done and called in a much more reputable company for a second opinion. The reputable company told me that my 7 year old home was not in need of these repairs. The home inspector gave it a clean bill of health just 4 years ago when I bought the house. It gets worse, I have been bombarded nearly every day by callers from this company telling me they are trying to schedule the "needed" work. I told one young lady to remove from her list and cancel my agreement she told me that she would request it but couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't get further calls. She stated a refund would take at least 12 weeks and she informed that because I called them first that they could keep calling me for up to 18 months without violating any laws. I immediately hung and registered for the do not call list. I also checked the licensing status of these 2 recent technicians and found they are not licensed as journeyman by the State of Maryland as required by law. Buyer beware this company appears to be extremely dishonest! Check out competitors who will send out licensed technicians rather than Sanford Kramer's supposedly "certified technicians (certified by who, the company?) No thanks! ". The law requires they be licensed.
exceptional professional!. We have used this company for years! Recently we had an emergency in our home the same day we were having a birthday party for my mother in law...imagine the pressure to get everything taken care of! I called them up and told them about the major leaking I had going on, they instructed me over the phone how to turn the water for just that area. I though I would have to shut down all water for the entire house! They arrive on time and the prices were reasonable!
Inaccurate Diagnosis.
Glad others have had good experiences, guess I am an exception to getting the good service.
Consumers BEWARE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to take a chance of being ripped off.
Our AC was not working and we wanted a professional opinion, ha the technician they sent was nothing more than a sales man who tried to tell us the entire system needed to be replaced and would cost between $6000 to $9000.
Thank goodness we had a second opinion, it ended up being nothing more than a sump heater and switch.... a minor and inexpensive repair.
If you value your hard earned money then don't throw it away on the opinion of a second rate technician.
A good job with my water heater. I live near Baltimore, MD and I had Sanford Kramer replace my water heater. They encouraged me to go with a tankless water heater and I'm glad they did -- it's working well, and I've already noticed a slight decrease in my monthly energy bill. The plumber was polite, clean, and respectful of my property.
Finally some AC, too bad its almost fall.
My AC finally works. Too bad the summer is basically over. Anyway, I appreciate the good work done by the repairman from Sanford Kramer. He did a good job explaining to me what the problem was, and he was clear as to how he was going to go about fixing it.
My new system is working without a hitch.
Excellent customer service. Their installer called me twice after completing his work to make sure my new AC system worked properly. It was working properly, but I appreciated his interest.
