Soon after the first Hyatt hotel opened in Los Angeles in 1957, Hyatt hotels and resorts became known for their dramatic atrium lobbies and their ability to express local flavor. Nice ambience. Stayed at the Hyatt Baltimore on New Year' Eve 2000. Room package included a bottle of champagne. Had a great view of the fireworks at the Inner Harbor. Also included a late check-out. It was a great deal considering the New Years holiday.
