Best Kept Secret in Annapolis!.
I was visiting from California and was fortunate to find this outstanding place!!! The food was incredible and reasonably priced. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside at the provided picnic table and enjoyed some of the finest, freshest seafood ever! I then took home some fresh jumbo shrip and the largest fresh oysters I have ever seen to prepare for dinner. They were fabulous done one the grill!! Not a place for frills, but if you want incredible freshly prepared seafood and the option to take some home, then this is the place to go!!

What a find!.
After a visit to the Annapolis Maritime Museum, which in itself was a find, since it is something of a public dock-front park, with people fishing and enjoying the view - we stumbled across Wild Country Seafood. Thinking it was a lunch wagon, as we approached, there in fact was a great little take-out seafood platter/basket place with al fresco dining. We split a crab cake platter which was great and enough for two - the crab cakes were moist nuggets of mostly crab meat with none of the overpowering Old Bay that some restaurants use, lightly fried, excellent fries and cole slaw. Now we have to figure out how to get there by boat, since it is a convenient alternative to Cantler's or Mike's. And a little bit of the old Eastport flavor right under our noses. Thank you to the owners, identified as the last watermen in Annapolis.
