Best Stylist and Shampoo. Never again will I believe that a shampoo is a shampoo. I have been going to salons for 10 years. Then there was Phyllis. She and Jamy seem to work in tandem. If there was a category for best shampoo in either Baltimore Magazine or City Paper, Phyllis would have won hands down (pun) for the last 30 years. It was hard to extract myself from her chair, but I knew I was going to Jamy. I was bored with my hair but not that bored. Jamy got it. She glazed my hair with the most beautiful deep chestnut color then changed my bangs which I am always cutting and letting grow out. I have gotten mega compliments. I am so happy to be back at Carl's. Between these two women I know my vanity is in the best of hands. PS, Phyllis only works Thursday and Friday.

In the end Jamy was not treated like royalty. She has left under egregious circumstances and is now working at Indulgence Salon on Falls Road. 410-321-1711. I will never step foot in Carl's again. They had the nerve to call me and see if I wanted to "set up" with a new operator. What gaul! I haven't been to the new salon yet, but, where she goes I go.
