Do NOT pay him more than you have to..
Went to him regarding bankruptcy. I gave him the consultation fee of $288 in cash. After the consultation, I was thinking that I might continue down that path so I decided to provide an additional $355 little extra to help pay for the bankruptcy. So at that point I had provided over $600.
In the end I decided not to file for bankruptcy as I was able to work out some of the financial issues myself. When calling to ask about a refund (even partial) I was told no.
Do not pay him more than you have to at the time of visit. If you change your mind, you will be screwed out of your money.
