Fun atmosphere...HORRIBLE SERVICE

I planned a birthday celebration for my husband and I with our friends and family. I ended up having 25 people, which you would think Kobe would appreciate. The receptionists are rude, they even asked my party to wait outside in the cold because there were "too many" people waiting for tables. It seemed as if they just did not want to deal with us at all, like it's brain surgery on something! We were split into 3 groups, which I totally understand, but they didnt even attempt to put us anywhere near each other in the restaurant. I tried to order the Birthday Special for my husband and my waiter told me he was too busy with his two tables. I told him to send someone over that had the time and told him to get lost when he tried to talk to me about it again. Obviously he was scared he'd said the wrong thing. WHICH HE DID! The hostess took my drink order for the special, but they didnt put it in the cup that I requested and they didnt sing Happy Birthday with the gong or bring him his cheesecake. I used to go there every year for my birthday, but I will be finding a new favorite restaurant to go to from now on since that company clearly has no need to keep their customers.

Great Entertainment, BAD service

I went to Kobe last night with a few of my girlfriends. I have to say that I had a great time. The food was excellent and the chef was very entertaining. However on the down side our service was HORRIBLE! It was obvious that our server did not want to be there. He was rude, lazy and forgetful. Other then that everything was great and just what you would expect. The food was remarkable and the chef was very funny. To bad we couldn't fully enjoy ourselves because of our waiter.
