Unbelievable care!

Wow. IHC is truely heaven-sent. They have helped me with my long list of health problems that I have. Domenic and Seok are fantastic and really care about their patients. I have been treated for migraines, fibromyalgia, GI problems, severe reflux, interstitial cystitis, neck/back/shoulder pain. I started coming for abdominal pain that I have had since 2001 but now, it's completely gone. Thank you IHC!

Acupuncture Works!

I didn't know much about acupuncture but I do now - and what I know is that it works! I started going to Integrative Health Centers in Parkville about 6 months ago. I went with a laundry list of things I wanted the practitioner to address - mainly hot flashes and low energy! All I have to say is that Bill Zvarick is da bomb! My hot flashes are gone! I had been suffering from hot flashes and night sweats for months - and I haven't had either in ages. My energy is back as well. I wake up with a smile now instead of dragging myself out of bed.

When Bill moved to the Towson (Lutherville) location, I started going there. Both offices have a great relaxing atmosphere and fabulous staff - they are very personable and really care about me. They always know me by name when I show up for appointments. It is my favorite escape now - it is truly ME time! I get on the table and let my stress melt away. And it gets even better - they accept health insurance!

I hear that Maria Kimos is the best Massage Therapist around so I just set up an appointment to see her. Plus now they are doing yoga, t'ai chi and qi gong classes as well as nutrition lectures - all of this is totally up my alley! IHC is the best thing to happen to me! Thanks guys!

Exceptional!

Exceptional is the word to describe many aspects of my experience at Integrative Health Center. I am taking the time to write this to return the kindness Domenic Thomas has shown to me and because his care has been such a positive experience for me. The acupuncture treatments have taken away numbness in my arms and hands and they have also brought my back to a point of relaxation that I had not felt for as long as I can remember. His caring kindness is something that has gotten to be hard to find in today's health care. The girls in the office are great too. I do not think you will be disappointed if you choose him for part of your health care services.

BEST Acupunture in the world

I've been seeing Domenic Thomas for over 5 years and have no complaints. I have sarcordosis, fibromyglia, degenetive disk, and severe arthiritis which causes me severe pain and often unable to walk. When I first saw him i was unable to walk and scared to death of needles instead of telling me that he couldn't help me, He talked to me for an hour until I relaxed. He told me to close my eyes and talk to him while I was talking and crying he had inserted the needles it was so painless I didn't feel them going in. Because of the outsanding care he has given me I'm able to walk again, dress, feed, and bathe myself. If you're in pain and having limited mobility he's the man to see. He's compassionate and gives all of his clients outstanding treatment. I travel for over 500 every 3 -4 months to see him. Thank GOD for Domenic

Best acupuncture and massage service ANYWHERE!

I have cronic stress in my back and shoulder muscles, and visiting Integrative Health Centers for a combination acupuncture and massage has helped immensely. The professional staff makes me feel at home, the acupuncutrist Domenic Thomas knows what he's doing and does it well! I would particularly recommend an hour massage by Maria Kimos - no one else can touch my feet!!!! Fantastic every time I go. I also recommend therapy for any sports injuries you may incur. They've fixed quite a few for me!!!!

• Pros: Friendly staff, great ambience, effective therapy
• Cons: turning into the parking lot, but there is plenty of parking!

Great Care

When I started going to Integrative Health Centers, I was having migraines nearly every day for about 15 years. I still get migraines, but only a couple of times a month and they are so much more managable. I had been to many doctors with no results, just more prescriptions. The level of care you recieve is excellant. Dom and Bill are so easy to talk with. The experiences I've had with them is so much better than any doctor I've seen. The location is good, there is a small parking lot, the staff is great, and they will bill your insurance for you.

Pleasantly Surprised.....

As a firefighter with chronic back pain, I was skeptical about needles fixing my problem. I have been through so many other therapies and nothing helped. I starting seeing Domenic because he takes my insurance and it covers acupuncture. I got relief from my back pain after only 4 treatments, and the best part is it relieved alot of my stress and sleep problems too. Now I go back whenever my back flares up and it gets better after a couple of treatments, I also like the massage therapist for my muscle tension. Oh yeah, the needles don't hurt either....bonus!

I was a skeptic, but acupuncture really helped me!

I tried acupuncture as a last resort after years of neck and shoulder pain. I was really surprised that it helped as much as it did. I have a huge fear of needles, but these were so thin, I could barely feel them going in - more like a pinch than anything else. My insurance did not cover acupuncture, but they offered me a discounted rate anyway. They worked with me to schedule appointments that worked for me - so it was easy going after work, and a few times I went on Saturday mornings. Also, I felt like they really listened to me and wanted to help - a very big difference from a typical medical office. It was a great experience for me and one I have recommended to all my friends.

Natural healing at its best!

If you're at all interested in taking charge of your own health, this is the place to go! They not only look at and treat the problem but are concerned with preventing future relapses by using an integrative approach; just like the name says! I have been treated for so many things from TMJ to Sciatica caused by pregnancy to having a baby. There's a Practicioner there to treat you no matter what your ailment is.

Great treatment for my knees

I had loose cartilage in my knees... They were very thorough and professional.

Anyway, I had never had accupunture before and found very relaxing. Usually when I went I fell asleep and had very vivid dreams. They said its because of an accupunture point between your eyes.. They played relaxing music during the treatment.

Anyway, Insurance covered everything.

I'd recommend them to everyone.
