Good beer

I go to the Brewery quite often and am always impressed with the service and the beer. The only thing that I think needs improvment is the menu. I think its weird, but that's just me. Calamari is ok and the wings are ok too. But I keep coming back...for the beer. Nice place to go have a few beers with friends. Very chill atmosphere.

High price for average food and disappointing beer

Ellicott Mills is a brewpub with a restaurant. Dinner for three at Rocky Run costs less for a similar dinner for two at Ellicott Mills where the food is average and the price is high. Once I went there when it was the first stop on on a pub crawl. On that day all they had were thin lagers.

Good Beer Selection

The beer they brew is very tasty. The food is standard microbrewery food. It's good but doesn't knock you off your feet. I would certainly recommend stopping by for some drinks and a quick bite. Good environment and you get seated very quickly.

good beer

We drove out to this restaurant that brews its own beer, so we could eat dinner. They brew Alpenhof German style lager beers, created to be easy to drink. We tried a Kolsch, which was very light but without much flavor and the Dunkel, which was much darker and had a lot more flavor. We shared Crab meat and artichoke dip for an appetizer, served in a hollowed out cottage loaf, then I had the sausage mixed grill with four types of sausage, red cabbage and mixed vegetables. The sausages were not as tasty as I expected and the red cabbage was overcooked, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Next time someone else can drive so I can try more of the beers. Dinner for two $70.00
