NO thank you NEVER again
by cdada
Avoid this place!
1)This place is "famous" for their pizza; after dining there I would phrase it as INfamous. I was with a party of 3 and we all ordered a different pizza off of the menu so we could sample a couple of different ones. They were all bland, undercooked crusts, and too few toppings for my likes.
2)They forgot 2 of the apps we ordered, a glass of wine, a glass of water, to bring utensils for one of us, and the birthday girl didn't get her salad until we had to ask for it when the main dishes were already delivered. I only ask for what I pay for
3)1 Month of billing issues! Apparently it is a challenge to swipe a card. I picked up the whole tab for the group, left a 40% tip... but I guess they wanted more?! They double charged, with the second charge hitting the day after I was there, me on my card. The second charge was in the pending status for 4 days. I use a certain check card for entertainment purposes so I only keep a set amount on it. Thanks for the overdraft. So after a month of faxing this and that, 10+ calls in the phone tag game and then finally talking to their corp number, I decided to stop battling and just went to my bank: They fixed it right away for me.
I wish I had read the reviews there before I decided to entertain people there, but now I know. This will be one group of customers you will never see again.
- Pros: The apps were good. Inexpensive.
- Cons: Slow forgetful service, unable to charge a card correctly, hard to resolve problems with should they arise
Any Bertucci's
by hawxylady
Having lived in Naples, Italy and growing up in NYC, I know pizza! The only pizza I like in D.C. is: 2 Amy's; Pizza Paradiso; and Bertucci's pizza Margherita with fresh mozzerella. These are all brick oven baked Neopolitan style pizzas. (Bertucci's is the most accessible).
- Cons: noisy
The best pizza I've ever had!
by dianarfb
There is one word to sum up Bertucci's food---"Addictive". I can't go a week without my Bertucci's fix. Call ahead for seating though...everyone else feels the same way!
Bertucci's pizzas

I have lived in Naples, Italy, (where pizza was invented) for the past 3 years. The original Neapolitan pizza is completely different than the American kind. Bertucci's makes the ORIGINAL brick oven pizza like you would get in southern Italy. However, the pizzas in Italy are about $3-5 and we paid $17.77 at Bertucci's. A nice treat when we miss the real stuff though.
- Pros: Great food, Great Service
- Cons: Too expensive
Bertucci's Brick Oven Masterpiece
by NikkiCopelin
My husband and I both think that Bertucci's has some of the best pizza in Baltimore. I would place them at #2 or #3 on your current rating list!
However, we have had some of the poorest service there. The pizza is good enough to endure the poor service.
- Pros: food
- Cons: service
Tasty Tasty Tasty

The absolute best pizza ever! Perfect crust, perfect toppings, perfect everything! Try the napoleon ones - they are superior. I like the Lestina best! Once you try Bertucci's Pizza - no other will do. I actually have cravings for it. You gotta try it!!!!
- Pros: flavor, inexpensive, quality
- Cons: need more restaurants, busy
Bertucci's, Buonissimo!
by mike0602
Bertucci's pizza is the best in Baltimore, bar none. I lived in Napoli, Italy for 7 years, so I should know how REAL pizza tastes. Bertucci's is worth the money spent. Their mozzarella cheese is not Italian, and it is flavourless, but overall their pizza is excellent.
- Pros: Pizza
- Cons: Service
Best Gourmet Pizza
by baywoman2001
Great Pizza, good crust and toppings. Even the gourmet stuff is great. No fufu stuff for toppings
the white pizza rocks!

I totally recommend Bertucci's. The crust is insanely fresh and the tomatoe...don't get me started. I live far away from it in a state where they don't eat pizza I think and I miss it dearly.
- Pros: sizes, cost
- Cons: noise, at times crowded
Good for all

Great place to take the kids. An adult restaurant that is kid friendly and not so franchised that it's boring. Order a gourmet pizza and a beer; let the kids play with the complementary pizza dough, crayons and coloring books, and everyone has a good time. Also a location on York Road in Timonium
- Pros: kid friendly, good food, good beer
- Cons: long wait sometimes
