I have no idea what 12348 and sierrahermer are talking about in their reviews. Dr. Chrest is one of the nicest, kindest people I've ever met in my life, AND she is also very knowledgeable in her practice. My father was a practicing veternarian for 30 + years, and since he has stopped, he recommended we use Dr. Chrest. We couldn't be happier with her, and have frequented her for over 5 years now. -- 12/03/2008

This is the absolute worst veterinarian I have used in my 30 years of caring for pets. Dr. Chrest is a total phoney. She encouraged me that my cat would get better...the cat was there four days and had to be euthanized because it was really too sick. No big deal...we all make mistakes. However, when you own your own practice, are the only vet that practices there, lives in a million dollar house, please do not apologize that you have to charge me the full amount...$1,000...you don't!

Cons: Staff...yanks the cat out of the carrier w/out knowing the termperament of the cat. My cat did get away and almost ran out the door.

I found Dr. Renee after visiting four different vets. My dog warmed up to her instantly and previously my dog was horrified of vet offices. You can tell Dr Renee really loves her work and the animals. There is a real relationship versus a take a number and pay kind of a deal. I moved out of state and still drive back in order to keep Dr Renee as my vet. Seriously, if you love your animal and want some one you can trust, go to Dr Renee.

Pros: She doesn't over charge for services, it's completely fair

Cons: There is an in house cat, so if you're allergic, that's about the only con you'll have.

Renee Chrest is the best vet my three cats have ever had. I have been taking my cats to Renee and her team for about six years and found her to be professional, friendly and extremely patient. She answers all of my questions, listens to all of my silly cat stories and provides an excellent level of care to my "kids". I knew I had found a winner when my oldest cat "spooky" didn't bite Renee during the examine. This cat has more bites under her belt then any cat out there. Renee is a great vet who treats your family like they are her family. Her care has been outstanding since day one and I would never take my cats anywhere else.

Pros: Friendly-loving care

Tired of sterile, hospital-like vet care? Dr. Renee is a breath of fresh air. Excellent diagnosis prior to med test confirmations for our dog. Very very caring and intelligent vet. Fit our emergency need in immediately -- other patients there are very understanding. Have had nothing but excellent experiences. Meds are expensive, but not sure it's any more there than elsewhere.

Pros: Excellent caring team

Cons: No grassy walking area for animals

I urge you to be very cautious with this woman. In my opinion, she is an incompetent veterinary who hides behinds smiles and a compassionate facade. Seems nice, yes. A good vet, no. If you want to be humored, go to Dr. Chrest. If you want your animal to be healthy, try someone else.

When my cat smokey had come down with liver disease I was new in this city. My cousin recommended Dr. Chrest and on her recommendation I went. What I found were caring and honest staff members, a competitent and truthful vetinarian who wasn't afraid to tell me what she would do in the same circumstances but also gave me all the life saving possibilies. We finally decided to put 13 year old Smokey down. I held her in my lap sobbing and asked the Dr. to give the injection. She did and let me be with smokey a while. Later that week, I got a card and follow up call. I was strapped for cash and she was incredibly patient. She doesn't just treat the patient and customer the same as all but she has the wisdom to treat each case individually. Bravo Dr . Chrest!

Pros: Less expensive, doesn't force unnecc., pleasant staff

Cons: can't think of one
