Gotta know what to get and what not to get

by CSMobileUser

Anyone who thinks 475 for a hotdog is insane, however certain carryout items are decently priced and most if not all food is delicious whether overprised or not. Beter bring 10 bucks a person if you want to eat and drink something.

Dont waste your cash

by Abrown

I called after I paid $50 for 12 jumbo soft crabs. When I got home 40 mins away , I noticed the sizes were random. 3 jumbo and 8 other " SMALL"

Notice the total amount is only 11. When I called and spoke to D I C K the owner he showed no concern and put the blame on whoever sent them the soft crabs.

He also said the soft crabs are sorted! I asked by who and do they know how to count to 12 ? Do they know the difference between small and jumbo ?

His only comment was they offer 2 sizes larger than jumbo! " which they didn't have " All they had were jumbo and something much smaller, What a poor business owner , Dosent even know what he has on display for sale and again places blame with someone else.

POOR customer service and over priced seafood.

Perfect place for steamed or fried seafood.

by Skylighter

Living in Maryland all my life, I am always on the lookout for good seafood restaurants. Anne Arundel is overrun with restaurants offering fancy seafood dishes or way overpriced steamed seafood.

Therefore I was delighted to find this place. They have steamed blue crabs, alaskan crabs, mussels, clams, and shrimp. And you can get a variety of fried seafood items. Nothing fancy, just great seafood relatively inexpensive.

I have been there 3 times and have tried both types of crabs. I am very picky about my crabs. These were full and cooked properly. The mussels and shrimp were also very good.

On my next trip, I am going to try the crab cakes. Another customer said they are awesome.

  • Pros: Good prices for basic seafood
  • Cons: Seating is limited

RIP OFF! BEWARE, OVERRATED, Bad Customer Service

by nattyboh

HORRIBLE and WAYY OVERRATED! We have lived in this area our entire lives but had never tried this place. We had found a coupon for buy one entree get the 2nd half off so we thought we'd give it a try one night--huge mistake! I ordered the crabcake and shrimp platter and my wife ordered the crab imperial platter. Both were available either platter or a la carte, the only difference is the platter includes 2 sides. After ordering, paying and sitting down. My wife noticed that it was actually cheaper to buy her meal seperate instead of the platter which makes no sense whatsoever--you'd think it be the other way around. We weren't talking about a few cents here either, it was more than $5 cheaper to buy the crab imperial a la carte and add on 2 sides. We spoke to an employee to see if this was a mistake and maybe the market prices hadn't been changed--ha what a joke! The employee, who turned out to be the owner, did in fact know this was the case and had the nerve to tell us by ordering everything seperate you actually get larger portions of the side items! We explained that this was a first time at their establishment and had no idea how it was set up...her response "well you'll next time!" Are you serious? This is how you treat your customers, especially newcomers, unreal! Did i mention that their credit card machine was conventiently broke so we were forced to use THEIR atm machine to pay for our $60.00 dinner plus the $3 atm service charge. I loved the sign they had hanging up on the wall--have a compliment or complaint, ask to see one of the owners, we'd love to hear about it.....what a joke! BEWARE--RIPOFF and OVERPRICED!

Fresh seafood

by SallyAL

We live very close to this place and eat there all the time. The very casual atmosphere is fun and the food is fantastic. We take all our friends and visitors there to relax, eat great seafood, and drink a pitcher or two. Highly recommend this place on any night of the week for a fun, relaxing dinner.

Best Overall Seafood House around

by egpnbluebell

Steamed Scallops, Shrimp,Clams and Crabs are always served perfectly. Raw oysters and clams are always top notch as well. Top it off with draft or bottle beer and you are set. Crabcakes are also good, not the best in Baltimore area but will not disappoint. We pass through this area frequently and always stop by no matter what time of year.

Seafood fiesta.............

We love Arundel Seafood. Straight from Dundalk we go. We have a ton of seafood places around here, but Arundel is the best. We go every weekend. The staff is great, the food and prices are great. What more could a seafood lover ask for.

So lucky...

by suthernladie77

I am so lucky that I can access this place so easily. The service there is top notch. After only going there a couple of times, I was hooked simply based on the service. I am originally a southern girl from Louisiana and I felt like I was back home with family. The quality of the product that they serve there is merely an extension of the people that they hire to work there. Sometimes the prices may get steep but the price hikes are necessary due to weather change (seasonal) as well as low supply times and high demand. If I felt as though they were being unrealistic and robbing patrons, I would have a problem. If I were to ever move, I would still remain a very loyal customer. I have to cut this review short...I am on my way to get my crab legs and shrimp now.
