best macaroons ever!
by hillaryn
I spend lots of time in Paris and the macaroons at Patisserie Poupon are even better than the most famous ones in Paris from Laduree. The cookies have a wonderful texture that literally melts in your mouth, yet has a distinct flavor and the fillings are totally delicious. I especially love the raspberry, almond, pistachio and chocolate...well they're all great!
- Pros: melt-in-your mouth flavors

Best Wedding Cake EVER!!!
by sheila54321
Patisserie Poupon provided the cake for our wedding, and it was not only the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen, it was the MOST DELICIOUS. Our guests raved about it. And they are still talking about it, almost a year later.
In addition, the staff was so nice and easy to work with. They were prompt with their delivery, and were just a pleasure.
- Pros: DELICIOUS, WONDERFUL STAFF, BEAUTIFUL PRODUCTS
- Cons: NONE
Simply delicious

For my girlfriends wedding we chose this place. All of their deserts were to die for. It was really hard to make a choice. Any one you taste will make your mouth happy and your waist groan.
- Cons: parking, small space
Amazingly Delicious
by nwolla01
This is the best bakery/pastry shop in Baltimore. My wedding was a formal affair at my in-laws estate in the suburbs of Baltimore and the cake was all the rave. It was delicious and amazing!!!!
- Pros: Price, Taste
At this French pastry shop, the decor may be simple but the desserts are not.

In Short
A worn terra cotta-tile floor, a smattering of potted plants, and a pair of bistro tables give this small storefront bakery an earthy feel, lightened by tall windows and sunny yellow paint. The catering business supplies many fine local restaurants; a retail display case highlights single-serving desserts. An array of bite-size treats--such as almond tuiles, macaroons, pecan sables and chocolate apricot cookies--are sold by the pound.
