Huge portions! by Jessica L. at InsiderPages

Tucked in a shopping center in Parkville, this restaurant and market, serves you mammoth quantities of food at fair rates. Their delicious seafood platters will feed you for a few days and they offer affordable daily specials, soups, salads, chicken, steak, pasta and desserts.
We headed here to celebrate my husband??????s promotion and my induction in Kappa Delta Pi (International Honor Society in Education).
We both started off with a cup of soup ($2.99). I had the Cream of Crab soup: I never had a cream of crab soup that had this much crab in it- the pieces were huge! The flavor was average but the pieces of crab made up for the average flavor. My husband had the Maryland Crab Soup. He said it was very good but didn??????t have large amounts of crab but overall flavor it was one of the better ones he has had.
For dinner we both had one of the specials. I had the Seafood Jumbo Trio, which was a Jumbo Lump Crab cake, surrounded by shrimp and scallops in a lemon-garlic-butter sauce and served with 2 sides. I got he tossed salad with Pepper Parmesan dressing and French fries. Their French fries are very different then normal fries. They have a what seemed to be a crispy coating on them- not breaded but some sort of coating that was put on it before it was fried- they were some of the best fries! The broiled crab cake was huge with large amounts of crab. It was flavored perfectly and wasn??????t too dry or too moist. I did however find a few pieces of shell in it. There was about 8-10 of each of the shrimp and scallops. The sauce on it was overly rich and was a nice constancy (not too thick or runny). It was way too much food and I brought home about ???? my crab cake.
My husband got the steak and cake special. He had a filet and the jumbo lump crab cake. The filet was a nice size however once he got past the outside portion of the meat it was way undercooked for hi
They lost a customer

Although the food at Mo's is excellent, the service leaves a lot to be desired. I took a party of 6 there. It seems the waitresses were having a power play of some kind because neither of 4 who were standing there wanted to seat us. When one of them finally led us to a seat, we did not find our seat acceptable and asked to move. We were told there wasn't enough room where we wanted to sit. Since my daughter had been there a few weeks before with the same sized party, she knew there was enough room where we asked to be seated. The waitress testily admonished us, "If you want to sit there that bad then go ahead, but if you're crowded, it's not my fault!" Then no one seemed to know which waitress was supposed to work our table; we wound up with 3, two of whom had very nasty attitudes. My plan was to leave a tip of one cent, and gosh darnit--they had included a hefty tip on our $150 bill. I was very unhappy with the service. Customers should not be made to feel like they are bothering the people who are paid to wait on them. It is not very likely that I will be going back.
- Pros: food is great; the man who refilled the water was nice
- Cons: the waitresses have seriously bad attitudes
Disapointed for the $$$

Dinner at Mo's Fisherman Exchange was a disappointment. Bottom line...the food, the service, and the atmosphere not worth the $110 I was charged for 4 people. On the Sunday we went, the menu was changed to only entrees of $19 and UP available. No sandwiches were available. The $22 crab cakes I was served were huge but ALL FILLER with little taste. My cream of crab soup was all shells. When I told the waitress, she apologized and walked away. I had to call her back to get a substitute order of soup. When I spoke to the manager about the poor quality of the crab cakes I was being charged $22 for, I was told there was nothing he could do about that. The service was less then mediocre but a 15% gratuity was charged on the bill. The dining room was miserably setup with each table just inches from the next. I will never go back.

WORST MANAGEMENT ANYWHERE
by tommycun at Citysearch
JUST SUM UP AS AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. TRY TO TELL THE MANAGER THAT THE ORDER YOU JUST SPENT OVER $100.00 WAS NOT CORRECT AND SHE SAYS THAT SHE DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH PROBLEMS RIGHT NOW AND CALL BACK IN AFTER 5:30, IN 5 HOURS. AND WE ARE A COMPANY THAT HAS ORDERED LARGE SPREADS AT HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS A POP AND THAT'S HOW WE'RE TREATED. HOW DO YOU THINK THE AVERAGE CUSTOMER WILL BE TREATED?
