If it wasnt for the location (Avenue in WhiteMarsh) I probably wouldnt return. It caters to an older crowd 30's-late 40's) That is not the problem. The problem is their music. How much 70's disco can u listen to on a Saturday night people? I think they need to get alittle more creative. I am 37, & I feel too young or too cool in there. Music selection is suffering from previous years. The food is just "ok". The bar/restaurant is set up nicely & seems clean. As with most places, NOT alot of imports to pick from. Good dancing space if you dont get tired of Abba,BeeGees, & Donna Summers.
Pros: large dining & dancing space
Cons: MUSIC

I have lived here all my life, and I've been to just about every restaurant and club. This place ROCKS. The food is excellent, and the nightlife even better. Weekends are a blast with a crowd generally in their 30s and 40s, although younger patrons like myself are always welcome. For my crowd, it is Wednesday nights! There is a different music theme every night, either a DJ or live music, and it always pleases. Great value too. I have eaten at every restaurant within 10 miles of White Marsh, and this place is now the ONLY place I eat. I always know the food will be great.
Pros: Inexpensive, Dancing, Fun

With the type of job I have, I always take clients out to eat and I look for places with great customer service; this is not the place. I went to brunch with my family on a Sunday and the hostes were by far the worst. They told my mother and sister that if they wanted to eat that we could first wait until 10a.m. or find somewhere elso to eat. Then they told us to put some tables together in the bar (my two-year old was with us). Like I said the food was great, but the poor customer service made not want to ever go back. Before I left I asked to speak to a manager and the hostes acted like it was too much trouble. Once I was able to speak to one, she was nice, but showed little conren about the issue.
Pros: great food, Inexpensive, Great music
Cons: rude Hostes, Long Waiting times, staff not friendly

Had dinner here with 10 friends on my b-day...we had a great time! The food and the service were excellent. Their best deal is happy hour -- half price everything, including appetizers (their wings are the best!).

While the service was great and the food "pretty", liberal dousings of black pepper and Tabasco sauce couldn't perk up the blandness of the dish I ordered - "The Creole Pot": Chicken, Shrimp and Crawfish creole over dirty rice. The dirty rice had that requisite gray color but strangly had no taste, the creole was chock full of mainly over-cooked chicken but a good amount of small-ish shrimp and crawfish also. It just didn't taste like much! It was fairly empty for a thursday night except for the bar, which was rolling.
Pros: Service
Cons: Food

I love sitting outside here. The tables are under an overhang by a great fountain where people gather at the avenue. It's a great place to people watch. Plus, the food is fabulous. They have a huge Sunday brunch for a flat rate, and I can't imagine what other kind of food they could put out. Great atmosphere, night and day!
