Are we eating at the same place?

Service was poor. Our waiter brought our steaks, dropped them off walked by thirty seconds later and ask if everything was ok and we didn't see him again until after the meal. When I cut into my steak it was well done rather than medium. I couldn't find

the waiter. I ask other wait staff to find our waiter but it fell on deaf ear. This was my second and last trip[ to Lewens. Both times the service was terrable and the food unacceptable and way over priced.

Delightful

A wonderfully delicious discovery within walking distance of the USNA. The Mids really enjoy a special meal here. The staff is exceptionally polite to Midshipmen. The filet needs no steak knife. The creamed spinach is delicious and enough for two. Desserts are unrivalled in taste and quantity.

Great place, family owned, all USDA Prime meats, Cooked right. Great wine list and full bar. Small but friendly, just over the bridge in Eastport, MD.

One of the best Steaks!

Second only to Peter Luger's Steakhouse in Brooklyn, NY! The steak is chosen and aged so well, that you can practically cut it with your folk! Although, you will not get a view of the Annapolis harbor, the quality of their steaks outweighs this.

A great place to go on a romantic date or for business.

• Pros: excellant food, Great service, Nice setting
• Cons: Reservation a must, no view of harbor, hard to find

Romance Abounds

This is the best steakhouse there is - hands down. The atmosphere is pubby and elegant, rich leather seating, white coated waiters that know their stuff, appear at the right time and have never heard of the terms, stuffy or pretentious. Steaks are first rate, lamb chops have a mint butter that is heavenly. Everything, including the a la carte vegetables, make each meal there a special occasion. The restaurant has it's share of friendly regulars, tourists tend to opt for the chain down the street. There is nothing there that is not cooked to perfection. The wine list is the best in town.
